    Is It Worth It?

September 5, 2016 By Raeann Leave a Comment

Resized Confused GirlEvery day we make choices that happen is 5 seconds or less. Things like, “Do I hit the snooze button?” or “Coffee or no coffee?” (O.k., so maybe some choices are a lot easier than others.) Regardless, every choice we make comes with that ultimate question of, “IS IT WORTH IT?”

From something as simple as “Do I hit the snooze button” to something as difficult as “Do I leave my job?” or “Should I stay in my marriage?” every decision has consequences. Keep in mind that no matter what direction you go, the feelings that come with that decision, will ultimately determine where you land.
When struggling with something difficult, sort things out by what the long term goal is, i.e what do you ultimately want for yourself at the end of this journey?. Though any kind of transition brings temporary uncomfortable feelings and some sort of awkwardness, once you gain stability and balance on solid ground again, ask yourself, “How will this decision change my life?” IS IT WORTH IT?

The Mission of Girlfriends’ Guide to Living

A Girlfriends' Guide to Living was born out of the idea that it takes a village — not only to raise a child — but to live the life you deserve. However, many women do not have the same support network of girlfriends that I have been blessed to find and lean on during difficult times, so I am going to lend you mine and invite you to join our tribe. Here, you'll always find your virtual girlfriends offering their opinions, support and advice on topics that impact other women — including you. Our mission is to empower women to empower themselves and share our collective wisdom to help each other thrive. Learn more ...
